Many of you are already aware that the federal FLSA increased the salary cutoff for exempt workers from $455 per week to $684 per week.  However, did you know that many states have their own salary threshold tests?  The newest one will be Pennsylvania who is raising their minimum salary threshold will increase to $780 per week in 2021 and then $875 per week in 2022.  Employers must be on the lookout for these changes in state laws to ensure exempt employees meet these new salary thresholds.  Contact the attorneys at myHRcounsel to help you make sense of all of these new and different laws!
