October 5 Tip of the Week

As if California employers didn’t have enough compliance concerns on their plate, Governor Newsom signed SB 973 into law adopting the now discontinued federal EEO-1 requirement that employers report pay data by race and gender.  Employers must prepare to comply with these new reporting requirements by the effective date of March 31, 2021.  For more guidance on how employers can comply, contact the attorneys at myHRcounsel and keep an eye on developments that might arise prior to the effective date.
