EEOC Schedules 2021 Openings of EEO Data Collections

After a delay due to the COVID-19 public health emergency, the EEOC announced that it will reopen EEO data collections in 2021. This will include the 2019 and 2020 EEO-1 Component 1 Data Collection, as well as the 2020 EEO-3 (public elementary and secondary school districts), EEO-4 (local referral unions), EEO-5 (state/local governments) data collections. Though exact deadlines have not been set, the EEOC indicates it will open collection for 2019 and 2020 EEO-1 data in April 2021. EEO filers are encouraged to begin preparation of data in anticipation of the openings. If you are unsure if you need to file EEO-1 data, see the following: https://www.eeoc.gov/employers/eeo-1-survey/eeo-1-who-must-file
