Frequently Asked Questions
What is myHRcounsel?
myHRcounsel is the reliable source for HR/Employment and Business Legal Services. We provide affordable, online & on-demand, subscription-based legal services with no disclaimers. Subscribers receive unlimited access to experienced attorneys through an encrypted online portal and mobile application with legally backed answers guaranteed within 2 hours or less.
What types of legal services does myHRcounsel offer?
Attorneys at myHRcounsel provide legal advice in employment law, business and corporate law, and ERISA compliance.
How is myHRcounsel different from other HR Consulting companies?
Other HR companies are staffed with HR “experts” not attorneys, and bury their information with disclaimers that say, “review this with your legal counsel.” At myHRcounsel, our advice is legal, provided by licensed attorneys and comes without disclaimers. Our advice is protected by attorney-client privilege, which means it is non-discoverable in the event of a lawsuit.
Who are the attorneys at myHRcounsel?
All myHRcounsel attorneys have no less than 12 years of relevant practice and are aligned with our company mission to provide small and mid-size business owners with affordable legal services.
How do I contact the attorneys at myHRcounsel?
Clients can contact the attorneys through our encrypted Ask An Attorney online portal as well as our mobile application. During business hours, we guarantee an initial response time of 2 hours or less and average about 15 minutes.
What is the HR Solutions Center?
The HR Solutions Center is an online self-service portal that provides access to employment, ERISA, and corporate law documents. It includes legal overviews, checklists, and information on federal and state employment laws. The Solutions Center also provides the option to consult with attorneys through myHRcounsel for everyday compliance questions.
How much does myHRcounsel cost?
myHRcounsel removes the pricey hourly fee a traditional law firm charges with an unlimited flat fee built on a per employee, per month (PEPM) pricing model.
