June 21 Tip of the Week

For the third time, the U.S. Supreme Court has upheld the constitutionality of the Affordable Care Act (ACA).  What does this mean for employers?  Essentially, nothing new.  Applicable large employers, generally those with 50 or more employees, must still offer compliant health insurance coverage to a specified portion of their full-time and full-time equivalent employees and furnish and file Forms 1095-C and 1094-C.  If you have any questions about the ACA and what your company must do to remain compliant, contact that attorneys at myHRcounsel for assistance.
